Students in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade are given either DIBELS, TPRI, or a combination of both three times per year. These tests are used to assess each student’s reading skills on an individual level. Tests will be administered by your child’s teacher in a one-on-one setting at the beginning of the school year, in January, and near the end of the school year. This is a way of tracking your child’s reading progress through the school year.
Students who attend Title 1 are also monitored every two weeks using DIBELS to track their progress. If your child attends Title 1 and you would like to see their “Progress Monitoring,” please contact me.
