The 41 units of Wireless Access Points:

Are the new APs replacing old APs? If so, What model and vendor does the District currently have? No. These are new APs connecting to existing Cat5e and Cat6 in most cases. We have cable pulled for the new WAPS with the exception of 2 in the high school, 7 in the middle school, and 1 in the elementary school. Please see the floor plans in the RFP near the end for the locations of the new WAPS as well as where cable pulls are requested.
What is the area like, high density, outside, halls, etc? The areas are high density classrooms for the most part with the exception of the elementary cafeteria, the high school cafeteria, and the middle school gym.

Currently we have Fortinet WAPs in every other classroom. After this addition of WAPs, we will have a WAP in every classroom. About 70% of the classrooms have drywall with about 30% having concrete block walls.

What type of traffic? (data, voice, video) We have data, voice and video throughout the network. Our phone system is VoIP and is connected by data cable. It is segregated on its own virtual network.
Have you had a site survey? No
Are you using your FortiGate as physical wireless controller, or the APs are managed from the cloud? FortiGate is being used as the physical wireless controller
BYOD? Yes

What is the desired length of the licenses?  3 years
Is it necessary to include any installation accessory (wall mount, Celling mount)? With the exception of the middle school gym, all of the WAPS will be installed on the ceiling grid with most of the cables already pulled. In the middle school gym, an installation accessory may be required to attach the six WAPs to the beams near the top of the gym.

I couldn’t find the spreadsheet (.xls)  for the pricing. It is supposed to be in Attachment A, but I just see a table.

Page 19 of the RFP references Attachment A (Whitewright ISD Fortigate Specs.xlsx Excel spreadsheet attached to the Form 470 RFP)

Page 20 of the RFP is Attachment A. I failed to reference it as Attachment A and added it as a .PDF document instead of a Excel Spreadsheet. You can find Attachment A in Excel form on this link.
