About Kristi Donaldson

Hello!  My name is Kristi Donaldson, and this is my 9th year with the Whitewright ISD family.  I grew up in the Texas panhandle and earned my BBA from Texas Tech University.  My husband, Joe, is a fellow Red Raider and a registered architect.  We have three awesome children, who have all attended or are attending Whitewright ISD.  Jolie is a graduate of Whitewright HS who just earned her BS in Molecular Biology from Wayland Baptist University.  Larry Joe passed away during his sophomore year of high school, and Will is in the 11th grade.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach 5th grade math at this great school!  At the end of the year, these students will take the STAAR assessment.  In preparation, they will study a variety of mathematical processes and skills, as outlined in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills objectives.  Their ability to solve and tackle increasingly complex questions is a critical skill that will help them as they move forward with their education, and, as such, we will also be focusing on developing student number sense strategies and fostering a growth mindset in our students.  They should have an amazing year!

Please feel free to contact me anytime at kristi.donaldson@wwisd.com.  I look forward to working with this great group of students and pray that we all have a great year at Whitewright ISD!
