This is Crystal Trotter’s first year as principal of Whitewright Elementary School and her 17^h year in education. She has taught multiple grade levels from 7th-12^th grade in Whitewright,  Allen, and Lewisville ISD. She has experience in curriculum and instruction as well as instructional technology. 

She is married to head basketball coach, Jansen Trotter, and they have two kids. Julianne is in 7^th grade and Jack is in 5^th grade. She loves reading, the outdoors, gardening, and sports.
