The 2018-19 school year begins my 11th year at Whitewright ISD.  I teach 8th U.S. History.  I coach 7th and 8th girls volleyball, basketball, and track.  I also coach high school track.  For the 2013-14 school year, I was awarded the Whitewright Middle School Teacher of the Year.

I was raised in Whitewright and attended Whitewright Schools all my life.  My collegiate playing experience includes 2 years of basketball at Grayson County College and one year at the University of Texas at Arlington.  I graduated from Tarleton State University in 1996 with a degree in Human Resource Management. I received my 4-8 Social Studies teaching certificate from Collin County Alternative Teaching Certification program in 2007.

I have three wonderful children.  Tyrone is pursuing a career as a professional football player.  Zada is a sophomore at West Texas A&M University and the current National Champion in the Shot Put.  Jeremiah is a freshman at Whitewright High School.  I enjoy travelling, spending time with my family, reading, and watching sports.
